Talk: Sor Mar?a De ?greda and the Lady in Blue

Dr. Anna Nogar?s monograph, Quill and Cross in the Borderlands: The Writing and Travels of Sor Mar?a de ?greda, 1628 to the Present, treats the transatlantic history of the legendary Spanish nun, and author Sor Mar?a de Jes?s de ?greda. The book focuses not only on the 400-year-long history of the nun?s bilocation narrative, but also on the impact of her writing on colonial Mexican society.
