Modern version of a novel by Erich K?stner. Anton (10) grows up fatherless. When his mother falls ill, he takes over her job. P?nktchen comes from a wealthy family, but her parents do not have time for her. The boy and the girl try to find the money needed for Anton?s mother to go on a convalescent holiday.
