Uncategorized Download To My Calendar
As we are all aware, borders remain a critical subject of debate around the world. The purpose of these Teach Ins are to provide a setting for our campus to discuss the relationship between borders and ethnicity, race and gender in the context of a local border area that is the largest and most well-known today that remains a complex and contested space. Both of these presentations will allow participants to reflect on issues of race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality, citizenship, trans-nationalism and cultural/national identity in relation to the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands.
