Dragon boat race and celebration of Asian cultures and cuisine. Dragon boating is a paddling sport that stemmed from an ancient folk ritual of contending villagers into a modern day international sport. The boat consists of a crew, drummer, and steersman. San Diego Dragon Boat Festival is organized by the San Diego Alliance for Asian Pacific Islander Americans, a non-profit organization. Advocating for the rights and empowerment of our Asian Pacific Islander communities.
