March to Close the Concentration Camps

Close the Concentration Camps - San Diego is a coalition of people, many of whom are parents and grassroots activists who are dedicated to human rights and the fundamental principle that all human beings have a right to life with dignity. The Coalition to Close the Concentration Camps - San Diego demands that:

1. San Diego County remove itself from the Trump lawsuit and publicly support SB 54;
2. A county law prohibiting any land in the County from being used by for-profit prisons;
3. The formation of a county commission to investigate and hold San Diego accountable for contracts with corporations that work with ICE/DHS;
4. The resignation of Bill Gore and hold SDPD accountable for abuses of the SB 54 loophole;
5. Measures like AB 1332 be upheld to limit the County from selling/mining data to ICE/DHS;
6. California ensures that DHS and other immigration officials do not have access to DMV records, demand an audit of requester account status of federal DHS agencies within SD; and
7. The closure of all US concentration camps.
