Film: We the Voyagers: Our Vaka

This 57-minute documentary by Dr. Mimi George and Meph Wyeth examines the history and revival of ancient seafaring and navigation by the Polynesians of Taumako in the Solomon Islands. The use of ancient design, tools, and materials grown on their island offers insights that are both authentic and rich. Please join us for a Q&A session with the filmmaker and refreshments after the film. This event is free open to the public, all are welcome to attend. Free parking is available.
