Sushi Festival San Diego is aiming to set a world record this Fall and invites you to join us in making & eating history!

Created by renowned Sushi Chef Jeff Roberto of Sushi On A Roll (SOAR) and his closest Sushi Chef Masters, Sushi Festival San Diego is aiming to set a world record of most sushi pieces created in a 48-hour marathon! For 2 straight days, Sushi Chef Masters will aim to create 100,000 sushi pieces and you get to eat history with us in an All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Celebration - Get your tickets before they SELL OUT!

Proceeds from the event will support the Friends of Rollo nonprofit.

Sushi is a Japanese dish of prepared vinegared rice (sushi-meshi), usually with some sugar and salt, accompanying a variety of ingredients (ネタ neta), such as seafood, vegetables, and occasionally tropical fruits. Styles of sushi and its presentation vary widely, but the one key ingredient is ""sushi rice"", also referred to as shari (しゃり), or sumeshi (酢飯).

The 48-Hour Marathon to set a Guinesss World Record will be taken on by Sushi Chef Masters from across Southern California and will feature a ticketed VIP All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Experience on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at The Dana on Mission Bay. Featured fish will be fresh from local Port Partners and VIP products will be delivered from the world-famous Tsukiji Fish Market.
