Are you looking for pd to help you better support your students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds? Do you need salary schedule credits? We've got you!

The Culturally Responsive Education Symposium is part of an on-going series focused on social justice topics provided by the CTA San Diego County Service Center. This is a one-day professional learning experience for educators that will focus on resources, skills, and information to support students from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

We have an amazing lineup of local presenters and over a dozen different workshops to choose from that cover elementary through high school. Paying the $100 registration fee is an appropriate use of site/district funds and several districts have sent teams of educators to previous symposiums.

A continental breakfast and lunch that will actually be delicious and have food options for everyone will be provided for all symposium attendees.

UCSD Ext course credit is available for $82.50. Course requirements include attending the symposium, completing a ""field experience"" by visiting a designated, local organization, and submitting a paper.

***The Community Engagement Committee will be collecting new toys for the Labor Council Toy Drive. For every toy you bring to the Symposium, you will receive an extra opportunity ticket for the opportunity drawing at the end of the day.
