Since 2015, the Ascend Project has been helping and supporting at risk youth find their voice and path through Dance. PKG is known for embracing a diverse range of dance traditions and often performs in unique venues.
The PKG mission is to create and produce dance programs and performances of the highest quality made affordable and easily available to the public through creative community collaborations and partnerships that promote and represent diversity in entertaining, innovative ways that educate and develop audiences for dance.
The Event will feature internationally acclaimed musicians - Singer Kei Riggins & Percussionist Josh Wallace who are World Music, Contemporary Musicians. Young dancers from Montgomery Middle School will perform their own choreography and perform with PGK Dancers. A Silent Auction will also be held. This event is, in part, sponsored by Marsha Lyon.
