Kwanzaa Celebration: The Kola Nutcracker

The Kola Nutcracker is a twist on the classic Nutcracker holiday story, wrapped in a Daishiki and transported to Africa. Sugar Plum Fairy, the Nutcracker Prince, and all our favorite characters will take Clara on an ancestral journey to find SANKOFA. Don't miss this ballet, modern, tap, hip-hop, and African dance spectacular. In addition, each day will feature ceremonial candle lighting and libation with live drumming, poetry reading by Johnnierenee, Nia Nelson, Karamu, and the traditional feast (free vegetarian African American soul food).
