In honor of Taiwan becoming the first country in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage, we are proud to be screening Taipeilove - The Documentary! Co-hosted with the San Diego Queer Apimeda Coalition, taipeilove* is an independent documentary dealing with the perception of homosexuality in Taiwanese society.
Light refreshments will be provided and Lucie Liu, the director of the film, will be answering your questions in a live Q&A afterwards! The screening will be open to all with a suggested donation amount of $10.
The screening will start at 4pm on 1/11 and will be at the San Diego Historical Museum Chuang Archive & Learning Center near the Gaslamp Quarter.
