2nd Annual Australia Day on Saturday, January 25.
Australia Day 2020 is organized by the San Diego-Perth Sister City Society in association with the San Diego Lions Australian Rules Football Club. The Society is part of the San Diego International Sister City Association which is composed of 15 cities around the globe.
Schedule:
11:00 AM- San Diego Lions Australian Rules Football Club picnic and game at Liberty Station.
3:00 PM - Beer tasting begins at North Park Beer Company, Mike Hess Brewing and Thorn Street Brewery in North Park. Volunteers will sell Australian T-shirts, hats and flags and hand out ""Know Your Australia"" quizzes. A portion of the proceeds raised on Australia Day will benefit the victims of the devastating fires in Australia.
5:00 PM - City of San Diego presents a proclamation in front of North Park Brewing Company commemorating Australia Day 2020 in San Diego.
