Chicano/a/x Printmaking: Making Prints and Making History - 50 Years of Art Activism is a multi-site exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the SDSU Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies.

Featuring historic and contemporary examples of printmaking, the exhibition highlights this media as one of the oldest and most accessible formats for Chicano/a/x artists working from the 1940s to today.

"Chicano/a/x Printmaking" examines the use of art as an agent for change and showcases how artists have responded to the social and political dynamics of the U.S./Mexico border, the impact of movement across the border, and the ways the cultures of Mexico and U.S. are shaped by their proximity to one another.
