The evening kicks off with Michael Doucet and Sarah Quintana performing music from their new album, Lacher Prise (Let it Go). Doucet describes the album as an eclectic mix of styles including New Orleans rhythm & blues, Southwest Louisiana rock ???n roll, as well as his own interpretations of zydeco and Cajun, infused with sounds of the French Caribbean. For the second half of the show, Michael is joined by BeauSoleil for a set featuring your favorite Cajun music. For the past 40 years, BeauSoleil has been making some of the most potent and popular Cajun music on the planet. Born out of the rich Acadian ancestry of its members, and driven by Michael Doucet's fiddle playing and vocals, BeauSoleil is notorious for bringing even the most staid audience to its feet.
