On January 13, 1996, the SDCHM opened its doors to the public at 404 Third Avenue, ten years after having incorporated as the Chinese Historical Society of Greater San Diego and Baja California (in 1985). To commemorate this important anniversary, the San Diego Chinese Historical Society and Museum invites the public to participate in a virtual celebration on 01/30/2021, featuring a tour of the Museum's revamped permanent exhibition.

After you register, you will receive an email with a customized link and password that you can use to access the event on January 30 at 10 a.m.

• Memories from early years of the SDCHM (Tom Hom, Ron Roberts, and Dr. Shu Chien)
• Anniversary Auction and Opportunity Drawing (Dolly Woo and Diana Marjip Chuh)
• First look docent-led virtual tour of the SDCHM Mission permanent exhibition
