A Self taught artist from Escondido, California. Edwin Vasquez expresses through vibrant colors the everyday life of Mexico and its people.

In his mid-twenties, he began traveling to parts of Mexico routinely; exploring the culture and landscape. His style expresses the vibrancy of life he found there despite the poverty and struggle faced by many. His work celebrates the unique heritage of the areas he has visited, portraying the pieces of old culture that still exist today. Edwin Vasquez continues to express his emotions through art, and is pushing himself more than ever before to get his message to the public and solidify his aesthetic and tone.

The 31st Annual San Diego International Jewish Film Festival returns to with a wide range of films including, documentaries, narrative feature films, comdedies, biographies, historical films and films about current affairs and issues as well a special online presentations and events. Please note that Limited-Time Screenings have specific dates of availability and a shorter time to view. All other films, with the exception of Private Screenings, are On-Demand throughout the duration of the festival
