Each live lecture will last about 90 minutes with Q&A

Friday, April 9 - 10:30 AM: Colosseum & Gladiators: Explore the Colosseum and empathize with its main characters: the emperors, the gladiators, the architect, and the spectators.

Saturday, April 10 - 10:30 AM: Ostia Antica: Explore Ostia Antica through the eyes of four characters: the politician, the slave, the merchant, and the fireman.

Thursday, April 15 - 10:30 AM: Ides of March: Rome, March 15, 44 BC. at noon, Caesar reaches the Senators in the meeting room. a bad omen. He cancels the meeting. Fifteen minutes later his corpse lays on the floor, covered in blood.

Friday, April 16 - 10:30 AM: Imperial Madness: Blood, intrigues, betrayals, love and hate stories of the most famous dynasty of Ancient Rome: Tiberius, Caligola, Claudius, and Nero.

Play Travel Trivia hosted by Extension (winner gets a prize!) and enjoy our Global Playground hosted by Recreation. Receive a free apron by sharing a recipe in the Cook Club! This fun global exploration happens at 12:00 PM on Fridays (Pacific Time).

Each quarter we visit different global destinations on Fridays! Check us out on Facebook and watch previous iCafé recordings too. Connect with your Triton community over culture, trivia, fitness and cuisine. Join us and bring a friend...It's free and fun of course!

Selena at Rooftop Cinema Club

Rooftop Cinema Club, the ultimate outdoor cinema experience, is back as a fun and safe night out:00 AMidst the picturesque Downtown San Diego skyline. Showcasing an:00 AMazing lineup of films featuring everything from cult-classics to recent box office hits, there's no better place to enjoy a safe and socially-distanced night out at the cinema beneath the stars. Doors open nightly at 6:30 PM and films start at 7:30 or 8:00, allowing guests plenty of time to enjoy the “Social Cinema” aspect of Rooftop Cinema Club, which includes:00 AMazing sunsets, classic table games, fantastic food and top-shelf drinks. Located at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, Rooftop Cinema Club features cozy lounge chairs for guests to relax in while enjoying a film, high-fidelity headphones which are sanitized after each use, and a unique food and beverage menu that features specialty plates and drinks, including a variety of signature cocktails and several craft-beer, IPA and wine options.
