A intimate dinner focused on building community and relationships. Our way to honor Filipino tradition for Filipino American History Month. We invite you to something intimate, vulnerable, and personal to ourselves and our culture. The word Kamayan is derived from the Filipino word Kamay meaning “hand” or “by hand” Kamayan is a traditional Filipino feast where food is laid out on top of banana leaves, and eaten with your hands. This experience is an intimate way of eating and while getting to know someone. Sitting next to either someone you know or getting to know someone new. Eating with your hands is a great way to break down a wall and really be present. We want to share our perspective of being Filipino Americans through our food and hospitality. Think Filipino classics as well as our way of cooking various Filipino foods. We aim to share this cultural way with you guys for Filipino American History Month.
