The Border Corps, a group of five Southern California artists, musicians, and performers, stages an art happening "incorporating weird combinations of materials, sound, the human body, pop culture artifacts, and historical sources." Myth of Coatlicue used to examine conflicted relationship between indigenous culture and legacy of colonialism in the Americas. Audience "encouraged to...approach the happening as a phantasmagoric life drawing class."
Admission: $5 general, $2 with sketchbook and pencils.
