Poet, composer, painter, teacher, writer Catherine Yi-yu Cho Woo plans lecture on Chinese fine arts. Dr. Woo's paintings have been shown in galleries and museums throughout Asia and the United States, including the United Nations, the Sackler Museum at Harvard University, and the National Gallery in Taipei, Taiwan.She is author of nine books in Chinese and English on Chinese literature, art, and culture. Lecture in Chinese and English followed by reception.She is the first Asian American woman to serve on the National Council on the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts has honored her with an appointment as an Ambassador for the Arts.
