Festival Cinco de Mayo & Quinceanera Extravaganza

Uncategorized Download To My Calendar
Chula Vista shuts down two blocks to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that commemorates Mexico?s historical battle over the French in 1848, in which the Mexican army pulled a David over the Goliath French army. The festival will include over 200 vendors and about 30,000 in attendance.

This signature event will feature live entertainment, authentic Mexican food and beverages from several Third Avenue Village restaurants and other food vendors; arts and crafts; a kids? fun zone with mechanical rides; singing, dancing, and salsa contests at our main F Street stage; a Quinceanera event and fashion show at Memorial Park Bowl.

Enjoy a Quinceanera Extravaganza and learn how this special day in a fifteen-year old young lady?s life is celebrated with pride. See the beautiful dresses at a fashion show;
