Engage your senses at Oceanside Museum of Art?s Culinary Cinema Series, a program that pairs food themed films with mouth-watering cuisine in the beautiful setting of the museum. On Saturday, June 12 at 5:30 PM the museum will screen the quirky Japanese film ?Tampopo? and serve a delicious Japanese dinner. The film celebrates the role of food in Japanese culture in a humorous and entertaining fashion. Reservations include a variety of sushi hors d?oeuvres, tasty salad, the iconic Ramen soup served in the film, dessert, beer, wine, the film, and entrance to four exhibitions on view in the museum. Appetizers and dinner will be prepared by Harney Sushi in Oceanside. Cinema Society of San Diego president, Andrew Friedenberg will introduce the film with background on the actors and director.
