Reception for exhibition of new work and installation by Tocayo and Exist 1981.
Tocayo, is a Cuban exile who grew up in Miami. Encinitas, on a business trip out west (his first). He now resides in Encinitas and works as a graphic designer. His art can be seen in such places as El Camino Restaurant in South Park and Cucina Urbana restaurant in Bankers Hill. He is totally freaked out with the whole writing in the 3rd person about himself thing. He also hopes you come and celebrate a wonderful night with the lovely of Thumbprint Gallery.
Exist1981 started as an underground street-art project. Over the past eight years it has manifested into fine art, graphic design and a boutique clothing campaign. Whether hanging on a wall or off your body, stuck on a notebook or street sign, Exist1981 pieces are meant to be accessible to all.
