Banshee in the Kitchen, based in Bakersfield, California, has been touring and recording since 2002. Last year they released their fifth album, Live at Painted Sky, following on Invite the Light: World Music for Winter2007, and Even Hotter Water 2005. All five Banshee albums get airplay and national and international public radio, with special features on Echoes PRI featuring their holiday music and second album, Catching the Mooncoin, which placed in its top 20 albums of 2003.
