Pimans: A Bountiful Life in a Harsh Environment

Uncategorized Download To My Calendar
The Pima Indians of the American southwest were once a prosperous group of hunters and gatherers. But environmental changes set in motion by European contact led to the collapse of their cultural ecosystem. Through artifacts and a short video, a new exhibit at USD's David W. May American Indian Collection and Gallery traces the effects on their health and implications for current society.

Exhibit is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and by appointment in 214A Serra Hall.
