In honor of the 40th Annual Barona Powwow, the Barona Cultural Center & Museum will present a special new exhibit showcasing the past powwow princesses, photos and stories. Join us beginning September 3 as we learn more about the Barona children?s powwow dance troupe the Little Hawks, the differences between southern vs. northern dance styles and the history of this Pan-Indian tradition that has swept the nation for over 100 years.
The museum offers visitors of all ages an exciting opportunity to witness history and discover more about how local indigenous populations live.
Museum Hours: Closed Sundays and Mondays. Open Tuesday through Friday, from Noon to 5 :00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
