Yvonne La Chusa-Trottier (Mesa Grande) returns to the Museum to teach another popular basket class.
In this session, participants will learn how to make a leaching basket. This basket was an instrumental tool in preparing the acorn to be made into shawii (acorn pudding). In this class you will make a smaller version using the same materials that the Kumeyaay ancestors used for thousands of years.
