Chronos Theatre Group performs scenes of life in a Jewish village in Poland. In the Yiddish tradition, tales of the mythical town of Chelm in Poland are a popular form of storytelling, gently poking fun at people who think they are wise but really are quite foolish. In this production, Eric George Tauber has woven together numerous tales based on a variety of traditional sources, as well as some original stories, to help bring to life this colorful world in a way that is filled with humor as well as pathos.
