The San Diego Chinese History Museum will unveil their original publication, Through the Eyes of Heroes: A Tribute to San Diego?s Chinese American Veterans. With funding from the Ellen G. and Edward G. Wong Family Foundation, museum staff members have spent the last year reviewing old records, interviewing veterans, and compiling fifteen years of research into a book that will pay tribute to these brave soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines. Some of the veterans featured in the book will speak about their experiences, and a reception with light refreshments will follow in the Chuang Garden.
