Three professionals from Adachi Institute of Woodcut Prints in Tokyo lead woodblock print workshop. A wood-carver (horishi), a printer (surishi), and guest commentator demonstrate woodblock printmaking using traditional techniques, skills, materials used in 18th and 19th centuries in Japan. Participants make prints of work by Hokusai and Sharaku.
Admission: $15 - $30 Ages 10 and up.
