Now in its sixth year at Museum of Photographic Arts, the San Diego Italian Film Festival has grown into an amazing conduit to enjoy Italian culture. In its entirety, the San Diego Italian Film Festival runs from October 26 through November 11, and features 17 spectacular Italian movies that evoke laughter, tears, and passion.
Tonight, The San Diego Italian Film Festival presents Caro Diario (Dear Diary) (1993), an Italian language, semi-autobiographical film in the style of a documentary directed by Nanni Moretti. The film consists of three autobiographical chapters (capitoli) of the open diary of Moretti, and was shot in breathtaking locations in Salina and Strombolli, Italy.
