Enjoy an evening of music, at the World Music Festival in San Diego's Little India. Multiple musicians will take the stage and merge together in song and dance. This will be an event filled with fusion of both eastern and western music.
Vishal Vaid singing traditional Indian and Afghani music including Qawali and Ghazal is converging with the western mantras and acoustic worldbeat of singer/songwriter Karl Anthony. Both singers are accompanied by tabla virtuoso, Rahis Ahmed Khan from Jaipur Gharana who hails from a musical lineage that traces its roots over eight generations back to the Mughal Courts.
The evening will begin with traditional Indian dance by the Nupur Dance Academy.
