The French and Francophone Film Festival bring together a selection of recent cinema from France and Belgium. This year's program will screen six films including the Dardenne brothers prize-winning The Kid with a Bike, Andre Techine's Unforgiveable and Ismael Ferroukhi's gripping World War II drama Free Men. All films are subtitled.

This festival runs from November 15 through November 17.

French and Francophone Film Festival presents Les Hommes libres (Free Man) (2011), a French prison melodrama, directed by Isma?l Ferroukhi, focuses on Algerian Muslims living in occupied Paris, and thus adds a twist. In Paris during WWII, an Algerian immigrant is inspired to join the resistance by his unexpected friendship with a Jewish man.
