Arab Film Festival will celebrate its first annual festival with receptions and films. Opening night reception begins at 6:30 PM followed by director Zaid Abu Hamdan discussion & introduction of his short Bahiya & Mahmoud. The main feature is Where Do We Go Now (Lebanon) by Toronto Film Festival Audience Award winning director Nadine Labaki.
Day two of the festival will include: The War Around Us (USA/Palestine). Director Abdallah Omeish joins the festival for a discussion of this winner, Best Documentary at the Newport Beach Film Festival, 2012. Refreshments will be served between showings.
The final feature will be Masquerades (Algeria), winner of Best Film from the Dubai international film festival, 2008.
