Tula Productions presents their 12th Hawaiian Christmas Concert concert with The Makaha Sons on their 36th anniversary tour. The Sons have received numerous proclamations and awards, both here and in the continental U.S. for their continuous and undying efforts in perpetuating Hawaiian culture through music.
This concert they pay tribute to John "King" Koko. John was always fun loving and he was the rascal. The Nanakuli native joined the Makaha Sons of Niihau in 1982. When John Koko entered the group, he joined brother Jerome, Moon Kauakahi and the world-famous Israel Kamakawiwoole.
They will have a "Kokolicious Day" filled with Hawaiian music and hula.
