How to Survive a Plague is a full-length documentary about the early history of AIDS activism, when HIV/AIDS was first discovered over thirty years ago and there were no effective ways to treat it. Throughout the years, through powerful activism for change, the fight against the "plague" has fostered a sense of community and committment from everyday individuals who surivive to carry the torch and help end the AIDS epidemic.
