San Diego Italian Film Festival Monthly Screening presents La Banda Dei Babbi Natale (The Santa Claus Gang). The return of the three favorite Italian comics Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo, in a hilarious comedy set at Christmas time. On Christmas Eve, actually, when the three bocce team pals, clad in Santa Claus outfits, are out on a "secret mission", and are nabbed by the police while trying to scale the side of a building! The intense interrogation by a police inspector, whose only desire is to get home to her family, triggers the three Santa Clauses to tell their life stories: Aldo an unemployed gambler, Giovanni a "sketchy" veterinarian juggling two love lives, and Giacomo a doctor too long caught up in the memory of his deceased wife. Will they be freed, or will they end up behind bars? Just in time to launch our Christmas season this year. Cast: Aldo, Giovanni, Giacomo, Angela Finocchiaro, Silvana Fallisi.
