It is not often that an event gets to completely re-event itself; however, this year for Mardi Gras 2013 on Fat Tuesday, February 12, 2013 the Gaslamp Quarter Association is doing just that! Mardi Gras in the Gaslamp is throwing away all of its old maps, blueprints, past history and starting from scratch to bring you a multi-stage venue with diverse talent geared towards a wide range of ages comprised of EDM, Local favorite DJs, Zydeco, Blues and Rock bands and much more!
The Gaslamp Quarter is throwing its doors open to start the party early at 5:00 PM and will be shutting down all of the South end of the Gaslamp from Market to L Streets and creating a Mardi Gras extravaganza until 11:00 PM.
In addition, to the diverse entertainment, there will be stationary floats decorated in outrageous themes that will keep the party going down Fifth Avenue and into a further wonderland of surprises at every twist and turn.
