Newly named as Artists-in-Residence, Camarada begins this new venture with Tango Nuevo (best of Piazzolla) music and dance, in the Mingei International Museum.
The Mingei will open its doors at 5:00 PM for docent tours and a viewing of Make Your Own Kind of Music: The Art of Musical Instruments. San Diego?s Scott Paulson will demonstrate the theramin and let patrons try their hand at the instrument.
The concert will be introduced at 6:00 PM by Mingei Director Rob Sidner in the Rotunda of the museum, lasting slightly under two hours with time for intermission.
