Sprays of cherry blossoms (sakura) will appear in painted form at San Diego?s historic Balboa Park during the 11th annual Friends of Taka Sumi-e art society show and sale.
The event highlights Japanese art, culture, and traditions. Students and associates of San Diego Community College instructor Takashi Ijichi will exhibit original artworks of many subjects in both sumi (ink) and Asian watercolors.
