Holland is internationally known for its soft drugs policy and anybody can enter a Dutch coffeeshop and enjoy a Dutch weed joint. This is completely legal for the customer. Selling the stuff through the front door may be legal, but the supply at the back door was never properly regulated, and is subject to increasing pressure from the authorities. Dutch Weed explores the world behind the coffeeshops back door, and offers a unique insight into a world where the idealism of the hippie generation is losing out to the greed and violence of organized crime.
