Experience the Civil Rights movement and the man behind it, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, on January 18. The era of the 60?s is revisited through five of his most recognized and moving speeches. Walk back in time through the hope, tragedy and triumphs of this period in American history created in this stage play, complete with song and dramatization inspired from the late Mahalia Jackson and Coretta Scott King.
Play writer and coordinator, Maxine Clark, has crafted a memorable and mesmerizing tribute to one of the greatest humanitarians of our lifetime as part of ?Our Living Heritage?, an annual production effort she spearheaded to acknowledge Black heroes and heroines.
