Two winners of the 2014 MTAC Concerto Competition will be performing with the Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Angela Yeung: Anne Liu (Division II Piano;12-14 years old) in Beethoven?s Piano Concerto No 2 and Katherine Zhu (Division V Strings; through 13 years old) in Paganini?s Violin Concerto in D.
Also in the program are three Mexican songs arranged by Mexican composer Sergio Caratachea Alvarez for orchestra and mariachi featuring the USD Mariachi Ensemble under the direction of Serafin Paredes.
