Hamid Daudani & Group presents its 21st play ?Baat Ek Raat KI? (Tale of One Night) to the San Diego Indian community this April. The play is a feel good exuberantly charming comedy. The story centers on a middle-aged millionaire Raja Sahib from a royal family. Raja Sahib was paralyzed due to a car accident. His relationship with his newest caretaker Mr. K soon develops respect and fondness for each other. Mr. K is intrigued by the pen friendship between widower Raja Sahib and an unknown woman who wants to be his friend to share his grief. As the story progresses the mystery of the car accident is unfold in an unexpected climax. Well admired in the community, the Writer, Director and producer Hamid Daudani brings an unusual superbly crafted subject to the stage. Technical Direction is handled by Nip Shah. The talented cast of 11 is selected from the local artists. The play boasts beautiful sets and wonderful dances.
