The WorldBeat Cultural Center presents the 34th annual Kwanzaa celebration featuring lectures, music, theatre, free vegetarian food, and poetry readings.

Schedule:
Day 1: Friday December 26th
UMOJA- Unity
Featuring
Lecture w/ Nekhitem Kamenthu, teacher and initiate from Earth Center on 'Renaissance of the Traditions'

Day 2: Saturday December 27th
*Activities start at 4PM KUJICHAGULIA- Self-Determination
Featuring a health conference presented by Makeca Paul Simm, MPH, Vice Preseident SDBHA and Ms. Ramla Sahid- Somali nutrition, a lecture w/ Nekhitem Kamenthu, teacher and initiate from Earth Center on 'Health and Self-Determination', preview performances of "Tribal Frozen" and a Californian "West Side Story" by the teenagers by Diva Works Dance Studio

Day 3: Sunday December 28th
UJIMA- Collective Work & Responsibility featuring official opening performances of "Tribal Frozen" and a Californian "West Side Story" by the teenagers by Diva Works Dance Studio.

Day 4: Monday December 29th
UJAMAA- Cooperative Economics
