Uncategorized Download To My Calendar
Preserved lemons are an essential condiment in traditional Moroccan cooking. Their distinctive salty, lemon flavor adds zest to tagines, salads, sauces, and much more. And their attractive rinds make for stunning display in jars that can be used to grace your kitchen or for a unique gift. And what better way to learn how to make your own preserved lemons than by following the lead of award-winning Moroccan born chef and author Kitty Morse.

Enjoy a demonstration by Kitty, while she shares stories of life in Morocco from her memoir, Mint Tea & Minarets, and you sip delicious Moroccan mint tea, after which you will have the opportunity to make your own preserved lemons. And of course we want to make sure you get to taste the lemon preserves, so with your assistance, Kitty will assemble a delicious preserved lemon crostini and an egg tagine for tasting.

Held at a private home, the event includes food tasting, mint tea, preserved lemon jar ingredients for each participant, together with Q&A, book signing, and the opportunity to meet the author up close and personal in an intimate and aromatic setting. Due to the special nature of this event registration is limited in size.
