As part of their International Film Series, MiraCosta college is screening the 2000 Chinese film Happy Times directed by Zhang Yimou.
Happy Times tells the story of an unemployed factory worker who poses as the wealthy manager of a non-existent hotel to impress a portly divorcee who has caught his eye. The film is rated PG and runs for 102 minutes.
Films in the International Film Series are screened at the MiraCosta College Oceanside campus.
An additional showing of each film is presented at the MiraCosta San Elijo Campus in Cardiff as part of the LIFE Program.
