A world music showcase presented in conjunction with the Society for Ethnomusicology Southern California and Hawaii Chapter Conference. A performance by the University of San Diego?s Mariachi Ensemble and a performance of Okinawan folk songs by Kinjo Masanobu Ryukyu Minyo Kenkyusho, an ensemble of performers from San Diego, will be featured. The evening will begin with a Indonesian Gamelan piece.
