The 8th Annual San Diego Indian Music & Dance Festival is presented by the Indian Fine Arts Academy of San Diego in co-operation with the Center for World Music.
The festival will feature 76 artists from India including the celebration of 95th Birthday of Bharat Ratna Ravi Shankar and tributes to M.S. Gopalakrishnan, Adayar Lakshman and Mandolin U. Srinivas. The festival includes Carnatic and Hindustani vocal and instrumental concerts, Bharathanatyam, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, and Odissi dance forms, and a Carnatic Theater.
Performing artists include Sonal Mansingh, Radha and Raja Reddy, Sadanam Balakrisnan, Kadri Gopalanath, Sudha Ragunathan, Neyveli Santhanagopalan, Sowmya, Jayanthi Kumaresh, Jayanthi Subramaniam, Sanjeev Abhyankar, YG Mahendra, PC Ramakrishna and many others.
