The San Diego Jewish Film Festival presents "The Farewell Party" and "Seeking Peace, Finding Hope."

"The Farewell Party" received 14 Ophir Award nominations (Israel's Oscar) with 4 wins including Best Actor for acclaimed Israeli comedian, Ze'ev Revach. The Farewell Party is a unique, compassionate and unlikely funny story of a group of friends at a Jerusalem retirement home assisting their terminally ill friend on his final day. This poignant dark comedy will simultaneously tickle your funny bone and touch your heart. A strong message of friendship and love.

"Seeking Peace, Finding Hope" is a moving and uplifting documentary that examines the impact of JITLI, a visionary leadership program of Gary Jacobs, Jerri-Ann Jacobs and Yaccov Schneider, that brings together Jewish and Palestinian teens to form meaningful connections to narrow the gap between the two cultures. There will be a discussion following the film with the film's producers.
